  • Yes! In addition to dogs and cats, we provide veterinary acupuncture for horses. We offer both in-clinic and house call options for equine patients in the Houston area.

  • Most adult pets should be examined annually. Senior pets and those with chronic conditions may benefit from exams every 6 months.

  • No, at this time we do not offer wellness plans.

  • Absolutely! Senior pets often benefit greatly from acupuncture, mobility support, nutritional therapy, and pain management strategies.

  • Yes, we do. The house call fee is $100. This does not include the physical exam fee. If the appointment is outside of our service area, additional charges will apply for extended driving.

  • Yes — we are one of the few veterinary hospitals in Houston that offers both grooming and boarding services specifically for cats. Our team is experienced with feline patients and our accommodations are designed with cats in mind.

  • We are located at 4902 San Jacinto Street in Houston's Museum District. We serve pet owners throughout Houston including Midtown, Third Ward, the Medical Center, Downtown, Pearland, Katy, Sugar Land, Kingwood, Spring, Cypress, The Woodlands, and surrounding areas.

  • Yes. We provide on-site services at your barn. A $100 barn/trip fee applies per visit. If the appointment is outside our service area, additional fees will apply.

  • Yes. We provide blood collection for Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA) testing, commonly known as a Coggins test.

  • Results are typically available within several business days, depending on laboratory processing times.

  • A current negative Coggins is generally required for:

    • Boarding facilities

    • Sales or transfers

  • Yes. We administer rabies vaccination in accordance with state guidelines.

  • Yes! We offer dog training classes led by an Animal Behavior College (ABC) certified partner trainer, including the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program and a board & train option for dogs who benefit from immersive, focused training.

  • The AKC Canine Good Citizen program is one of the most widely recognized dog behavior certifications in the country. It tests dogs on 10 essential skills including walking on a loose leash, sitting politely for petting, and coming when called. Upon passing, your dog receives an official AKC CGC certificate.

  • Yes! Many pet-friendly apartment communities in Houston recognize the AKC Canine Good Citizen certificate as proof that your dog is well-behaved and safe around others. It can be a meaningful asset when applying for housing that has pet restrictions or breed requirements. Remember, the final approval is up to your residential management and we can not guarantee your pet will be accepted based on completion of the certification.

  • Board & train is an immersive program where your dog stays with us and receives focused, consistent training throughout their visit. Soft tissue procedures include mass removals, spay/neuter, gastrointestinal surgery, bladder surgery, and more. Orthopedic procedures include cruciate ligament repair (TPLO), fracture repair, luxating patella correction, and hip and joint procedures.
