Dr. Aziza Glass is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine graduate from Cornell University.  She was born in Houston, Texas and nurtured her love of animals by watching television documentaries and performing her own animal behavior experiments. She is the expert veterinarian for Freshpet Foods, one of the fastest growing pet food companies, dedicated to educating and promoting healthy diet and lifestyles for our pets.

Dr. Glass graduated from Prairie View A&M University, summa cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and a concentration in animal science. She enjoys leisure reading, playing golf, and spending time with her close friends and family.

At CAWLM Veterinary Hospital + Spa —short for Complete Animal Wellness and Longevity Medispa—she focuses on integrative medicine with an emphasis on acupuncture and other alternative modalities. She obtained her Certification in Veterinary Acupuncture (CVA) from the world-renowned Chi Institute. She’s recently been named one of Vet Candy’s 2025 Veterinary Game Changers and a WABC Audrey Lawson Impact Award Recipient.  

Dr. Glass has starred in two national network television series, appeared as an on-camera veterinary expert more than 40 times, and has been published over 80 times in print and digital media as a featured expert and contributor. Her trusted commentary regularly appears across national morning shows, lifestyle platforms, and news programs, where she translates complex pet health topics into accessible guidance for broad audiences.

In addition to her clinical and media work, Dr. Glass is a sought-after speaker who has presented at national conferences on integrative veterinary medicine, entrepreneurship, and leadership. Through her work, she continues to advocate for innovation, education, and greater representation within veterinary medicine while empowering pet owners with trusted, evidence-based information.
